libpng

libpng v0.8 is freeware source code for reading and writing PNG files, able to be compiled on any platform. libpng implements PNG standard bitmap file format; it's PNG from one of the people associated with the PNG specification.

libpng is in the directory /software/source/libpng on the CD-ROM. libpng is from Group 42, Inc.
